Doubt

"There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people. It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations. It is a thorn that irritates and hurts; it is a sword that kills." -Buddha

Doubting other people is something that everybody does once in a while no matter how much we try not to. It's easier on us to doubt others than ourselves because rather than feeling degraded we usually feel empowered knowing that that person isn't going to do very well in something, that we may. The thing is it's not easier on the relationship between those to people often tearing it apart on account of the lack of support. Nobody likes being second guessed.

"And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt." -Sylvia Plath

This quote could be translated into anything in life is doable if we bother trying to accomplish it. That has more of an impact because  while not everyone writes, we all live, it applies to everyone. It really does cut creativity short, always telling us that what we're thinking isn't good enough to share. Self-doubt binds us holds us back from doing what we wish we could all the time and it's something that almost everybody feels.
